What's cool about my blog is that no one ever reads it, except me..which is my fault, because I rarely post. Maybe it's not so cool that no one ever reads my blog, though, because I have a lot to say, actually. I post primarily on Care2....which is a lot of fun, because conservative flamers post there, and I LOVE to take 'em on. I find myself defending President Obama a lot, which is disturbing. It's disturbing because there are some people out there (typically, you hear about these people because they have big mouths, but say nothing.) who have begun blaming our current President for the mess created by the FORMER Administration. I have confidence in Obama. I believe he can pull it off, and we'll all be better off for it. I have learned something from those people, though. Racism is still alive. Disgustingly, blatantly, and sadly alive.

Today is most certain to be gray. That is a Michigan winter. I can live with that. Spring will eventually come. Kathleen's play is sometime in February. Nick and Yi-Hsuan will be married on Feb. 5. Shauna's birthday is on the 4th, and mine is on the 9th. Yi-Hsuan's parents are flying in from Taiwan. The wedding reception will be on Feb. 16th. WHAT ELSE? It's really okay, though. February seems to go so slowly otherwise.

Another day without sleep. I am completely unable to sleep at night. I have no trouble sleeping during the day. However, I can stay asleep for several hours only. My thoughts are muddled. I hate this. It is 8F right now. Cold and icy. Warmth must be in my future. Warmth and sleep.
